OPSEC is First and Foremost Here
OPSEC is the shorthand term for operations security. It is a process for identifying, controlling, and protecting information which, if it becomes known to an adversary, could be used to our disadvantage. It is a mindset used to keep our troops safe by NOT sharing identifying information to unknown parties.
What does that mean to you?
Simply put it means:
1. You should NOT post your full name or that of any soldier you know; be it in a post, picture, user name or elsewhere on the boards.
2. You should NOT post specific dates. Whether the soldier is coming from or going overseas keep the dates to yourself. Also because of this
ALL COUNTDOWN tickers are prohibited on this site.
3. You should NOT post anything regarding specific locations overseas. I.E. the names of the posts/installations or the towns.
If you happen to post one of the above mentioned things you can expect to see your post edited for the safety of all parties.
Among our members you will find…
* The Moms of Army soldiers.
* Wives/Ex wives, fiancées & girlfriends, with children, of Army soldiers.
* Army Wives, Fiancées, and girlfriends without children (from our Sister Site AWF)
We are a family friendly site, and as such we would like to keep all pictures, graphics and images posted on here family friendly. Please leave all provocative, sexually explicit, derogatory, nude or obscene pictures, graphics and images off of these boards.
From time to time you may encounter some issues with another member. Please handle these matters privately either with a member of the staff here, or with the member directly.
Please refrain from soliciting ANYTHING on the site without first obtaining consent from Wouga (the site owner).
Non Mom members…
I have opened the site to "Non Mom" members for those ladies who are members of our sister site Army Wives Forums that are not yet on the Mom road. These members do NOT have access to post, but CAN read posts on the boards. If they wish to contact a member regarding anything posted they may utilize either the PM feature or the user profile, both of which they have free reign over. They may also put together their own profile complete with photo albums and customized features.
If at any time one of these members is on the *path* to becoming a "Mom" they need only notify an Admin/SMOD member to have their registration transfered to full access.
